The current India vs. England Test series has been abandoned by Virat Kohli.
After withdrawing from the current India vs. England Test series, star Indian batsman Virat Kohli is enjoying time with his family. On February 15, the Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and the former captain of India welcomed their second child, “Akaay.” As per the sources, Kohli is presently in England and was recently observed at a restaurant with his daughter Vamika.
The social media picture of the Indian cricket player with his daughter, where he is seen enjoying time with his firstborn child, has gone viral. The father and daughter are seen eating in the viral photo, with the 35-year-old donning a cap and Vamika donning a jumper to stay warm during the London cold.
Kohli has placed a high priority on his family and taken several sabbaticals to spend time with them ever since his daughter was born in January 2021. He left the final three Tests of the four-match series against Australia 2020–21 in order to be at home for Vamika’s birth. The player, who was born in Delhi, also missed the current series against England to be with his family while giving birth.
The squad established an unbeatable 3-1 lead in the five-match series with a five-wicket victory in Ranchi, and even though he was not playing, Kohli congratulated them on winning the series. In the absence of several veteran players, the former captain praised the youth for their perseverance and tenacity.

India wins the series 3-1 by chasing down 192.
Notably, India was 40/0 at stumps on Day 3 and faced a goal of 192 in the fourth innings to win the series. With 84 runs for the first wicket, openers Rohit Sharma (55 off 81) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (37 off 44) gave their team a fantastic start. Nevertheless, despite a strong start, India lost to 120/5 and required 72 more runs to win.
With an undefeated 72-run stand, Shubman Gill (52* off 124) and Dhruv Jurel (39* off 77) lifted their team across the finish line when they saw that they were in trouble. After scoring 90 and 39* in the first two innings of the game, respectively, Jurel was rightfully named Player of the Match.
