One standout player for Gujarat Titans (GT) in the current Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) is Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore. During GT’s match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday, April 21, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Mohali, the left-arm spinner displayed his bowling prowess and was instrumental in his team’s three-wicket triumph.
Together with other spinners and the Afghan pair of Noor Ahmad and Rashid Khan, the 27-year-old helped GT limit Punjab to a disappointing 142 runs. Kishore, who is from Chennai, finished with great figures of 4/33 in his entire quota, with an economy rate of 8.25. This was his first four-fer in the lucrative league. What’s more, his game-winning effort was duly acknowledged, earning him the Player of the Match certificate.
In every game this season that he has participated in for the Titans, he has continuously displayed greatness. He has taken six wickets at an economy rate of 7.72 and an average of 14.16, making him GT’s fourth-highest wicket-taker despite appearing in just three games.
