Virat Kohli interrupts trophy celebrations with a “Michael Jackson slide” and goes popular on the internet with a dance move.
In the third and final Twenty20 International at Bangalore on Wednesday, former India captain Virat Kohli recorded his first-ever golden duck, capping a forgettable series against Afghanistan. In the series decider against Afghanistan in Indore, Kohli, making his T20I squad debut after missing the ICC World Cup in 2022, made an immediate impression. The former captain scored 29 off 16 balls in the second T20I against the team without Rashid Khan, demonstrating an excellent strike rate of above 181.
Kohli was expecting to put on a show at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium with the bat when India landed in Bengaluru for the third Twenty20 International yesterday. Nevertheless, the first ball of his innings stopped the legendary Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player in his tracks. After being out on the first ball by Afghanistan’s Fareed Ahmad, Kohli went on to overtake Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and record an undesired duck in the third Twenty20 International.
With his outstanding fielding, Kohli, the former captain of India, remained the topic of the town despite his horrific encounter with the willow. With his “Superman” dive on the boundary line, the 35-year-old avoided a certain six. Kohli was also spotted dancing to a popular song at the Chinnaswamy during the thrilling Super Over match.
Fans on social media were also captivated by Kohli’s dancing moves. The batting icon was spotted making a notable addition to the team portrait after India’s exciting victory over Afghanistan. During the dead rubber between Afghanistan and India, this is how Kohli amused the Chinnaswamy crowd.
